Why I Think About Property This Way

My perspective has been shaped by years of working around homes, renovation, development, construction and property decisions in Auckland.

I have seen how a property that looks straightforward can become complicated once planning, access, services, construction constraints, costs or family circumstances are considered.

I have also seen the opposite.

Sometimes the better decision is not the more expensive property, the larger section or the most obvious option.

It is the property that better fits what the person is actually trying to achieve.

That is the thinking behind The Property Decision Library.

Experience & Perspective

My property experience has developed across different parts of the property journey — from renovation and project management through development and residential property.

Working closely with architects, planners, engineers, surveyors, builders and other property professionals has given me a practical appreciation of how many factors can sit behind what initially appears to be a simple property decision.

Today, through Auckland Property Insight, I bring those perspectives together with one purpose:

to help people become better prepared before making significant Auckland property decisions.
